Our team had a great time at the regatta coming in a respectable 8th out of 19 boats. A frustrating last race where our spinnaker became trapped under the yacht meant that the chance to push ourselves up the leaderboard disappeared. Hats off to the LBS crew who came first in every race with a great demonstration of how it should be done.

The team at Cranfield SOM have announced that the Cranfield MBA Regatta will be held on the 4th to 6th July 2014. The format appears to be similar although no visit to Cowes this year – an evening in Portsmouth instead. Any Henley MBA students or alumni who are interested in taking part, please make contact as soon as possible.
Well, we had an excellent regatta with stunning weather all weekend. Hot and sunny every day, the only downside was the lack of wind! The Henley team did very well with an overall result of 11th place. However, the real result was that we were 5th in the MBA class behind LBS, Kellogg/WHU and two Cranfield boats. (The MBA class excludes the professional skippers)
The black dots on the results sheet indicate the professional skippers.
